PEA & Pain Management
Study Design: Thirty symptomatic women with laparoscopic diagnosis of endometriosis and pregnancy desire. Patients were given um-PEA twice daily for 10 days followed by m(PEA/PLD) twice daily for 80 days.
Findings**: At the end of the study period all women showed:
- Significant improvement in chronic pelvic pain, deep dyspareunia, dysmenorrhea, dyschezia.
- Significant improvement in quality of life and psychological well-being.

Ginger and Menstrual Cycle Support & Cramping
Study Design: This meta-analysis, the highest level of evidence in research, systematically evaluated 4 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to assess the effectiveness of ginger compared to placebo for pain severity and duration in women with primary dysmenorrhea.
Findings**:

DIM for Estrogen Management
Study Design: This study looked at how taking DIM affects estrogen levels and metabolism. Researchers compared estrogen levels in urine between two groups—DIM users and non-users —and also analyzed changes before and after starting DIM.
Findings**:
- Women taking DIM had significant differences in most estrogen levels and metabolites compared to non-users.
- In women who started taking DIM, noticeable changes were seen in key estrogen levels, including estrone, estradiol, estriol, and 16-hydroxyestrone.
- DIM increased the ratio of “healthier” estrogen metabolites (2-hydroxyestrone:16-hydroxyestrone), which indicates better estrogen metabolism.

Study Design: This prospective single-cohort study evaluated the effectiveness of oral N-acetylcysteine (NAC) in reducing pain and ovarian endometriomas, and its role in fertility improvement among patients aged 18-45 years. Patients received NAC (600 mg, 3 tablets/day for 3 days per week) over 3 months.

- Endometrioma size reduced significantly
